Rolo Testimonial ...
Before ‘Pippins’ came into our lives, ‘Rolo’ - our Doberman puppy, was over-excited, constantly barking and totally uncontrollable. I was nearing a nervous breakdown and my young son Cameron was suffering the brunt of my stress, often unfairly sent to his room, because I couldn’t cope with our chaotic household situation. The whole family was at breaking point!
From my perspective, Rolo’s fate was looking extremely bleak – and yet, (as I now know) he wasn’t really the problem – it was our inexperience and lack of confidence.
With Nic’s diplomatic approach, we were enlightened to the fact that we had set no firm boundaries at all. This had led to complete chaos and massive family stress - as our gorgeous, new pup, rampaged at will, throughout the home.
Within hours of Nic’s visit, we actually managed to sit down together for a pleasant family meal and engaged in a coherent conversation, for the first time since Rolo’s arrival.
Nic’s kind and sensitive advice provided us with the ‘tools’ to ‘manage’ Rolo and promote positive, calm behaviour in him. This has made such a fantastic difference, to the quality of his life and ours!
